A Halloween Read

I'm much behind on my scribblings here, but have decided to take the pressure off and do them at my own pace instead of one a day. There have been so many days lately, with the new baby in the house, that writing isn't able to happen.

I picked up this old Alfred Hitchcock book at a yard sale this summer and just decided to pull it out of mt stack. Seemed like a perfect October read. It is called Haunted Housefuls and is chock full of nine short stories for young readers, so I know that it won't be to spooky, but that's okay. I'll let you know what I think...

Alfred Hitchcock was always one of my favorite mysteries... I love his unexpected twist at the ending

What a great book! You just sparked an idea. I should start collecting old scarey books and set them out as Halloween decorations. Thanks for the tip.

My husband has a similar book from when he was a kid, the stories are still so great. His writing stands the test of time. I actually like the pace of some short stories when I am super busy. Enjoy!

There's nothing like a good Alfred Hitchcock book in October. I believe I read this many years ago.

Enjoy!
